The Hobart Shakespearean review
My general reaction to the documentary was that I was so surprised that the teacher actually manage to make those kids succeed when every other teacher that they had said that they could not succeed in school, which I thought was rude. I was also amazed about him taking the children to see many historical places to make them realize that they were not the only people who were struggling to make a difference. His disciplinary actions also surprised me as well. Instead of yelling across the room at the kids, he asked if he could speak to him in a corner to speak with them about what they did wrong. It was great seeing a teacher like that because not many teachers are like that in today's world. It is also sad that the kids will never have a teacher like that again in their lifetime because he had done so much for them.
